Health services

The Centre for Adolescent Health provides quality health care for young people and their families and promotes healthy adolescent development.

Our services take into account the wide range of family, school, peer and individual issues that can affect young people's health.  We are sensitive to the importance of cultural background, religion and sprituality, gender, and sexuality in a young person's life.

Health Services at the Centre
Peer support programs Peer support programs provide a forum for young people to discuss issues, develop confidence and learn life skills while connecting with others in a similar situation.
Young Peoples Health Service (YPHS) The Young People's Health Service is a primary health care service for young people aged between 12 - 22 years who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness, including young people in refuges and temporary accomodation.
Family Programs

The Centre for Adolescent Health does not currently facilitate family group programs, but under collaborative agreements with other agencies we are involved with some family focused activities.

Adolescent Forensic Health Service (AFHS) Adolescent Forensic Health Service is a multidisiplinary health service providing health programs and interventions to high risk young people on custody or community based orders supervised by Juvenile Justice.
