Melbourne Cup Day

ChIP In Annual Ball

On Saturday, 18th August 2007 the ChIP In Auxiliary held our Annual Gala Ball for 2007 and what a successful night it was.

We were entertained by DivasInc an amazing group of three girls disguised as nurses from the Moonee Ponds choir.  In a very short time their true identity was revealed and then we were treated to a vocal experience that we will not forget.

We danced the night away to Melody Cool and had a lot of fun with our raffle, grand auction and silent auction.  Our caterers, Black Tie, provided a delicious dinner and great wine.

It was fantastic to see Louise, Tamara, Louise, Kendall, Vassie, Stacey and Lauren on the night and we were all so very proud of Charlotte.  Her presentation was great and although nervous, she was an amazing representative of Chips.

Our fundraising was a huge success, with many thanks to our supporters and generous family and friends we are very proud of our achievement.  We have raised enough money to ensure the annual Chips Camp will be a huge success again next year.

I would like to thank all ChIP In Auxiliary committee members for their tireless team work not only on the night but for the many weeks leading up to the ball.  They really are a fantastic team.  One special person to mention is Jessica O’Dowd.  Jessica has been unwell herself but has worked so hard to ensure the success of the ball, thanks Jessica.
